Solution Focused Therapy is a goal directed approach, into positive change. This process focuses on the solution, rather than the problem.

I believe that it is important to address past experience, while staying directed in the present. We cannot run for our past. Our past is our knowledge. However, through the process verbal interaction and exchanges and creative expression of thoughts between client and therapist, there can be solutions. Asking questions, while exploring responses on how to make a positive difference leading to the future.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), helps a person understand psychological trauma and attachment issues. Thoughts and emotions must be regulated and linked. The process identifies the strong emotions that are associated to trauma, while assisting in the process of unresolved, unattended conflicted emotions. Stress Inoculation Therapy (SIT) help reduce traumatic stress, improve a positive sense of self and provide skills to regulate emotions.

Psycho-education, enhances feelings of safety, trust and emotional health, to the behaviors and responses to trauma reminders and disruption of daily life. Brief Eclectic Psychotherapy for PTSD is aimed at externalizing memories, thoughts and emotions about the traumatic event, while working with the moment.
